The Men of Murder, She Wrote. SEASON THREE

Well here's the third season of the most under appreciated series that shows you a wide array of daddies. Whether Jessica is helping out the local sheriff or clearing friends of murder from around the world, it's no mystery why I love the show. So here's a run down of the actors I had a thing for that appeared on season three.

EPISODE 01 & 02: "Death Stalks the Big Top" (part 1 & 2)
When Jessica's niece receives a gift from her grandfather, who has been presumed dead for years. Leads Jessica to a small town circus beset by accidents and murder. Despite her brother-in-law’s confession, Jessica refuses to believe he killed the circus foreman. After one murder leads to another as Jessica finds herself chasing down false alibis and the employees of a rival circus.

Neil Fletcher, played by Jackie Cooper is the reason that Jessica at this circus...

But Edgar Carmody, owner of the circus played Martin Balsam is the REAL reason why I'd be at that circus.

The town's asshole Mayor Anson Powers played by Ronny Cox.

Ronny now at 81. And here's another case of getting better with age.
He's a lot more fuckable now than then.

Here we have our much deserved murder victim, Hank Sutter played by the late Charles Napier.

EPISODE 03: "Unfinished Business"
A retired policeman decides to re-examine an old case and returns to the lakeside cabins where the murder occurred, gathering all the old suspects together. With Jessica helping Seth, who is a suspect in the murder case.

J.D. Cannon

Don DeFore

Lloyd Bochner

You can't have a Cabot Cove episode without Tom Bosley as Sheriff Amos Tupper.

Mmm... just look at chest hair sticking out the top of his shirt.

William Windom as Dr. Seth Hazlitt. The main reason to come to Cabot Cove.

The grunge look is doing it for me.

Here's our murderer, Barney Kale played by Pat Hingle. I just love that voice of his.
Image the dirtiest thing you would want someone to say to you in bed, now imagine Hingle's voice saying it. It sounds a lot dirtier doesn't it?

Phone sex with Hingle sounds great about now.

EPISODE 04: "One White Rose for Death"
While attending a concert in Washington, D.C., Jessica becomes an unwilling hostage of political espionage with two East German defectors and a murder. And who put her there? British MI6 agent Michael Hagarty, of course.

Like most fans of the show, I never get tired of seeing Michael Hagarty played by Len Cariou. Probably for completely different reasons.

Here's old Len now and still quite fuckable.

Calling Dr. Bombay, calling Dr. Bombay or Andrew Wyckham in this episode (also our killer) played by Bernard Fox.

Here's what he looks like now.

EPISODE 05: "Corned Beef and Carnage"
Jessica gets involved when her niece Victoria is believed to be connected to the murder of her lecherous boss.

Here's Bill Macy. Even though there are a ton of guys I'd pick before Macy. There's something about him that keeps him in the back of my mind.

Here's our murder for today, David Ogden Stiers. Ah, David... I wouldn't mind tossing a dick into you but not at this point in your career. Though that'll change in your next appearance on the show.

And now of course. Most definitely now.

The star of this episode for me was Warren Berlinger.

Look at those lips.

I wonder if my infatuation with Berlinger has anything to do with his resemblance to Charles Durning. Though Berlinger has qualities that differentiate him from Durning. Those DSL’s and huge dick that may run in the family. Look up his uncle Milton Berle.

EPISODE 06: "Dead Man's Gold"
A group of young treasure hunters come to Cabot Cove looking for sunken treasure and one of them ends up dead.

The late and forever handsome, Leslie Nielsen.

Oh Seth...

I just love the way he has his hat tilted to the side.

Awkward.
Face it guys, Jessica's not fucking either of you. So what are the chances of the two of getting together for a little hot, sweaty action. Not sex... a fight. Though sex would be preferred.

EPISODE 07: "Deadline for Murder"
A veteran reporter who suffered a heart attack says his best medicine would be the removal of his publisher. After the man ends up dead, Jessica gets involved.

Eugene Roche. To be honest, I could drop a load on him.

EPISODE 08: "Magnum on Ice"
An episode that began on “Magnum P.I” concludes as Jessica comes to the assistance of Magnum when he's framed for two murders that occur during her vacation in Hawaii.

John Hillerman played Jonathan Higgins on Magnum P.I.. Thinking back on it. There were only three reasons that I'd watched the show. The car, the helicopter and Higgi baby.

I can still work with this.

Ramon Bieri. Funny. I've seen seen this guy in almost everything back in the 80s but it's only recently that I developed the hots for him. He almost always played the older, beefy, grumpy boss of the main character. So just my type.

John McMartin

EPISODE 09: "Obituary for a Dead Anchor"
Jessica’s beloved Cabot Cove is placed under the spotlight and in front of the camera when an obnoxious, out-of-town television producer of popular news show is murdered. It's up to Jessica to figure out the killer.

The really effeminate Mayor Sam Booth played by Richard Paul. And as annoying as I find Mayor Booth. I'd plow that. I'd plow that... HARD.

Chad Everett

Ah, the stupid sheriff Tupper. If he didn't look so fuckable, he'd be no damn good for the town.

EPISODE 10: "Stage Struck"
The reunion of two once-married stars in a Broadway-bound comedy is marred by the onstage murder of the leading lady’s understudy.

Edward Mulhare from Knight Rider fame.

Dan O’Herlihy. Yeah, I know. He looks like the creepy old man from next door but there's something about him that I'll bone.

Here's Bob Hastings. I grew up hearing the man's voice in some of my favorite cartoons and only recently found out what he looks like.

EPISODE 14: "Murder in a Minor Key"
The home viewer is Jessica’s guest as she tells the story of her latest novel about a law student who turns sleuth to help a composer friend accused of killing the professor who plagiarized his music.

George Grizzard was suck a dick in this episode, no wonder somebody stuck something in him. I'd use my dick instead of a sharp object but that's me.

Rene Auberjonois.

EPISODE 15: "The Bottom Line is Murder"
An unethical TV consumer advocate is murdered and suspicion lands on one of the clients whose products he maligned.

Barry Corbin played Lt. Lou Flannigan and all I could do was stare at his yuck mouth. Then I thought it's Barry Corbin. With hair. So yes, I still want to fuck him.

The more grizzled, hairless Barry.
Every time I see him today, I always wonder if the carpet matches the drapes.

EPISODE 16: "Death Takes a Dive"
Jessica visits her old friend Harry McGraw in New York who has become wrangled in the high stakes game of boxing.

Jerry Orbach

Thick ass Ernest Borgnine.

Batman himself, Adam West.

EPISODE 17: "Simon Says, Color Me Dead"
An artist is murdered and a painting which he kept under wraps but considered his finest is missing.

Tom looks so cute here.

WHAT! This is Seth only appearance? Damn the writers.

EPISODE 18: "No Laughing Matter"
Somebody’s dead after an engagement party for the children of a long-estranged comedy duo.

Buddy Hackett

EPISODE 19: "No Accounting for Murder"
Jessica’s nephew Grady is in big trouble again when his boss is found dead and he is the main suspect.

Barney Martin

Geoffrey Lewis

Oh it's sheriff Metzger. Wait.. not yet.

Mmm...

EPISODE 20: "The Cemetery Vote"
The probing father of a small town reform mayor killed in an “accident” suspects foul play, and is murdered in turn.

Mitchell Ryan
