"The Legendary Ed Asner"

A television comedy legend and bear icon, Edward David Asner, commonly known as Ed Asner, who is best known for his Emmy Award-winning role as the gruff but soft-hearted journalist Lou Grant on both "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and its spin-off series, "Lou Grant". I was 15 or so when I first saw reruns of the "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and I never quite understanding why I enjoyed the scenes with Ed as much as I did. Of course looking back now I totally know why. He had it all, from the top of his thinning hair, with those big thick dark eyebrows, hairy forearms and pudgy fingers down to his thick hairy legs. Ed as Lou Grant was just hot, total masculinity at it’s finest. The DEFINITION of a bear.

Though he appeared in countless shows and movies at the time, it wasn't until 1993 when I saw him in a rerun of a TV movie called "The Family Man" and I nearly lost it. Certainly not "hot" in any conventional way, but he was stout, hairy, masculine and so fuckin sexy. In my mind everything a man should be. The classic profile of a ruggedly handsome man and an excellent addition to my spank bank. Who ever's creative decision to have 50-year-old Ed Asner in a romantic lead, shirtless in some bed scenes was a genius. After watching this movie, I was hooked. HARD!

Ed on in years now, his looks has changed over the years, but I'd still do him! Ed has matured into a handsome chubby polar bear with a lived-in look that I crave. Even at 83 years old, the veteran character actor still at the height of his power: in person, charming and thoughtful; on camera, crusty as week-old bread. Asner does playfully affect some real-life crust, but his warmth and intellect can’t help but shine through. In person, he showcases a peculiar mix of gruffness, charm and a flirtatious side that is surprising to most. I don't doubt that Asner has also been clued into his own furry attractiveness by more than one admirer and is probably comfortable with the idea of being lusted after by other men. That's one of the prices you have to pay for being in the public eye, I guess.

The lovable actor is still pretty busy for a man of his age. Just take a look at his imdb page, with more than 250 acting entries on the Internet Movie Database, with all the work he has just wrapped up and soon will work on. Asner is obviously a hearty example of senior vitality, working steadily, both in front of the camera and in the voice recording booth, since his signature series "Lou Grant" ended in 1982. Ed Asner's prolific and much honored acting career demonstrates a consummate ability to transcend the line between one of U.S. television's most acclaimed and most controversial actors to unlikely sex symbol. So while he'll continue working as long as "they can use this old hulk," I'll continue to jerk off to this hairy beast. Keep it up Ed, we love ya!

Murder She Wrote

I'm a little embarrassed to say, but I'm really starting to enjoy watching Murder She Wrote again. Yes, Murder She Wrote. I just finished watching the first six seasons of the show and damn. All those older men that appeared on this show is staggering. Jessica Fletcher would've had her pick of any man in idyllic town of Cabot Cove. From Dr. Seth Hazlitt (William Windom), both Sheriff Amos Tupper (Tom Bosley) and Sheriff Mort Metzger (Ron Masak). And I won't even try to mention the countless others she meets on her her trips out of town. I can image Jessica fucking any and everything that came across her doorstep. Look, I'm happy with this imagery, just accept it.

Killer Image (1992)

Not picture of the year material by any means. But what makes it special to me, is that it help put M. Emmet Walsh on my radar. The magical scene where he shows his nice chest and belly as he walks to a window gave me great spank material. Walsh's full belly and tits were to die for. This movie was the first time I've seen M. Emmet Walsh shirtless, I even bought it for that reason. He's just sexy to me. So if you like bad B movies, this is your kind of movie. If you'd like to see M. Emmet Walsh with his shirt off, this is your kind of movie. So if you like M. Emmet Walsh see this film, or else! For everyone else, back away slowly.

Ahhh, he killed your happy ending. Lets rewrite that happy ending.. in more ways than one.
